NSS

The college is having one NSS unit with an allocated strength of 100 volunteers. As the total intake of the college per year is around 65, majority of the students are enrolled as volunteers and actively participate in the activities organized by NSS unit. This unit is under Kerala Agricultural University with the Director of Students Welfare of the Kerala Agricultural University as the Chief Programme Coordinator. A faculty member from the college is nominated as the NSS Programme Officer, who is in-charge of the activities related to NSS unit. All the volunteers actively engage in all the activities of the units and special attention is given for food security and environmental protection programmes including tree planting which is a major objective set out by the National Service Scheme at the national level. these are some of the l activities undertaken  by NSS unit.
